Julius Bekkorwair Kuusaalesuo is a professionally trained health Service

Administrator with over 23 years of experience in the public health sector. Before

he was appointed Deputy Director (Administration) in 2019, he was the Hospital

Administrator of the Suhum Hospital, the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, the

Nsawam Hospital, and the Akyem Oda Hospital. Mr. Kuusaalesuo together with

the teams in these Hospitals attained significant achievements which transformed

and greatly impacted healthcare delivery in their respective catchment areas.

As the Deputy Director, Administration of the Hospital, he is among other

demands, responsible for advising on operational and administrative matters for the

delivery of effective and efficient administrative and support services, overseeing

contract management and administration of the support services, and providing

technical support to other departments and units in the Hospital, etc. He is

passionate about team building, attainment of results, capacity building, and

discipline.

Mr. Kuusaalesuo holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (GIMPA, 2011)

Post Graduate Diploma (IPMA- UK, 2005) BSc degree in Health Administration,

First Class Honors (University of Ghana Business School, 1999). Mr.

Kuusaalesuo is a member of the Association of Health Services Administrators,

Ghana, and was the Eastern Regional Chairman of the Group for about six years.

He enjoys reading, playing tennis, and watching soccer.
